My Process – How I Paint Your Love Story
Every couple is different, and I treat each painting like the one-of-a-kind story it is. Here’s how it all comes together:
Before the Ceremony
I’ll arrive about 3-5 hours early to begin painting the scene with acrylic paint—usually your ceremony or reception space.
Capturing Your Moment
Once the moment arrives—whether it’s your first kiss, your walk down the aisle, first dance, or a posed moment after the ceremony—I’ll snap reference photos and start adding you into the scene.Painting Live at Your Wedding
While you’re celebrating with your guests, I’ll be painting nearby, letting them watch the process unfold. It’s interactive and adds a beautiful, artistic energy to the day that guests always remember.The Reveal
I will reveal the completed painting before the night ends—after which the Bride and Groom can either take it home, or I’ll take it back to my studio for some finishing touches and a varnish to really bring it to life.

As a heartfelt thank-you, guests will receive a hand-painted portrait of themselves created live during the celebration. Each one takes just 5–10 minutes and captures their personality in a fun, artistic way. I’ll be set up at your wedding reception creating quick, live watercolor portraits throughout the event.
Depending on the flow of the event, I can paint around 8–12 portraits per hour. The style is loose, expressive, and full of charm—perfect for framing or popping on the fridge. It’s part entertainment, part keepsake, and totally unforgettable!
